From the mouths of babes...

"Ah, my butts." (She's talking about her buttons.)

Chloe says goodbye to everything. She's gotten out of the habit of saying bye to her diapers and bed, but she still shouts goodbye to the cats, often getting loud and impatient. As if they are being very rude by not replying. She will also say goodbye to someone we left behind 15 minutes ago. If we're driving home, to the store, or wherever, and someone was left behind (Daddy, Nanny, MeMaw, etc.), she starts talking about that missing person, and then (very loudly) shouts, "bye !"

Chloe definitely understands the difference between yes and no. When I ask her a question she seems to think it's safer to always answer no. I'm not sure what she thinks I'm going to demand, but it must be pretty bad. Anyway, she starts the "no" before she has had a chance to fully listen to my question. When she finally understands exactly what I said, if her answer wasn't supposed to be a "no," she will add a very long "s" to the end. It comes out as, "no...ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss." Which means yes. "No" without the "s," still means no.

Chloe, like all of us, can get frustrated when she isn't understood. She, like all of us, has developed an "I'm so tired of your stupid head" voice. However, hers is not the same as most annoyed tones. Hers sounds like a monster.
Example scenario:
Chloe: Momma, I want candy.
Me: No, you don't need any right now.
Chloe: Momma, I want cannndy.
Me: No, not right now. Maybe later.
Chloe: Momma, momma, momma, MUUUUHHHHHMMMMMAAAAA. (roar)
